GaLaPaGoS - the Global Ledger Practices Guide for Study - is the most complete set of resources available on the XBRL Global Ledger (XBRL GL) Taxonomy framework, its implementation and its role both in internal reporting/auditing and in simplifying XBRL projects focused on external reporting.

GaLaPaGoS provides a friendly way to access both the XBRL GL Taxonomy Framework and the annotated, "best practices" instance documents, also available directly from the XBRL International web site at http://www.xbrl.org/GLFiles.

GaLaPaGoS is provided as a service of Iphix LLC, the leader in the implementation of XBRL GL, with appreciation from XBRL International's XBRL GL Working Group.
